Mairead Doyle (mairead) I’ve been blogging since I received my very own domain name for my birthday back in 2003, and I've been diving since 2001. I'm a bit of a fair-weather diver, preferring tropical waters above anything else, but I have dived the north Atlantic and a very chilly Port Philip Bay in Melbourne, Australia. I even got dry-suit certified and my goal is to dive in the Shetland Islands. I hope you enjoy my blog posts.

These guys are great! We saw 3 different species of shark, including a lemon (8 or so in total) on our first dive. Many other fun things to see as well. (Goliath grouper, giant rays, barracuda and many others) We had the pleasure and honor of being visited by a couple whales, one being in the water 30-40 yards away. Very impressive and memorable. The other one came right up the side of the boat, as if he was coming to say hello... Bill and Steph are great guides and very safety conscious. They are fun and charismatic. Always pleasant on a dive! The best thing of all is they have the fastest boat on this side of the island, which allows them to get their pick of the site, each and every day! You can't go wrong with Aqua TCI
