Marine Animals

Our directory of Marine Life is an extensive resource to all divers, from beginners to professionals. With around 800 different sea creatures listed, divers can browse through our directory and learn all about the sea life in our oceans.

Just select a sea animal that you want to see underwater or learn about from our list below, for example a shark or a dolphin, and we will provide you with a picture, along with the shark or dolphin’s scientific name, length, width, class, distribution, and habitat.

Whenever a diver enters a dive log on our site and tags a sea animal or plant to a dive site, that tag links directly to our directory of marine life. Therefore, our directory will constantly expand to include more and more marine life, as well as be updated with the most recent sightings of different sea creatures. We also allow a very advanced media interaction which allows every photograph or video to be tagged to a Dive Site, Dive Shop and Marine Life.

We know that Marine Life plays a huge role in a diver's experience underwater, and by creating a strong community of divers with marine life awareness, we hope to enhance the overall scuba diving experience!
