Excellent boat and crew. Very varied diving. Not very many other divers other than in a few places (whale sharks in Oslob, sardine school in Moalboal and Threshers in Malapascua). Great trip!
The crew and service throughout the siren fleet is exceptional and the Phi siren is no exception. I was lucky enough to be on a 12 night extended trip that included everything from brilliant macro, swirling sardine shoals, so many frog fish and of course brilliant thresher shark dives.
Thanks to Shu, Ed and all the crew for a breathtaking cruise....as always, I'll be back!!
It was fantastic to see the reef so well looked after by the marine park rangers. They came on the boat to explain the importance of protecting the reef and to respect the animals. The cruise directors did a very good job of organising the trip , and the rest of the crew were very friendly and worked very well as a team.
Great Place-Great Diving-Great Boat-Great Crew, a must !! We hesitated in going to Tubbataha, we shouldn't had...
First time with Siren fleet and won't be the Last. Trip Directors, Shu and Ed, run a tight ship. They are backed up by an amazing crew. Hard working but lots of fun and lots of laughs. Cabins are huge and comfortable. The dive deck is one of the best I have seen. Very spacious with easy access to the tenders and lots of storage. Comfortable saloon area with plenty of sofas and places to chill out. And the diving was amazing. A fantastic trip .
The trip started in Cebu and finished in Malapascua. The boat is very professionally run by Shu, Ed and their wonderful crew. Nothing was too much trouble and they were ready to give assistance before you even realised you needed it. The organisation is definitely run by divers for divers. The accommodation is very comfortable and the food is good and plentiful. The diving was well coordinated and very varied. Our trip enjoyed everything from muck diving through pristine coral to whale and thresher sharks. There was a good mix of international guests whose sociability helped enhance what was already an excellent trip.
I have dived with the Siren Fleet previously in other locations many years ago, and was really pleased to see that their attention to detail for this trip to the Philippines in 2015 hasn't changed. The boat was meticulously maintained, and the crew were just fantastic. The food is to die for. The diving was brilliant and varied, with lots of little critter spotting happening, some beautiful nudibrach's, awesome frog fish, as well as seeing some big stuff like thresher sharks and eagle rays, and schools of all sorts of fish from sardines (the biggest school ever!) through to jacks, alongside sea snakes and other awesome species! Not to mention the whale sharks....
I was impressed with the consistency with which the boat was run, and the crew were just brilliant and involved in all of o...
Everything was very good: hospitality, catering, diving support. One of our best holidays ever... If any suggestions to even improve requiered, I can mention a) more fresh fish (meaning FISH, not seafood) with lunch/dinner menu, b) some more of Apo Island dives and some less of Dauin (of course this is very very individual who likes what underwater...). and perhaps c) finding a way to avoid dinning deck from engine polutions when running (something like inventing a kind of an "upper position exhaust pipe"???) Can not find much more to improve :-)
This was my fifth trip with the Siren fleet but this one was slightly different in that we had our 18 month old daughter in two... We were looked after brilliantly...!
As always the quality of the boat and the crew stands out. To date every trip on the Siren fleet has been well organised with the passengers being the primary focus of the captain, the crew and the dive team.
The diving at Tubataha was pretty good too. We went at the end of the season and with warm water temperatures a lot of the larger animals were deep down looking for cooler water. That said we still saw plenty of sharks (including whale sharks and hammerheads), mantas and large schools of fish. I would certainly recommend a revisit.
We will for sure be back on board one of the Siren fleet as soon as we can.
The ship is in best condition, excellent designed for diving and living comfort. The team is super friendly, professional and makes each customer feel best during the trip. The diving spots visited are marvelous. I am sure this was not my last trip with them.
Getting the ideal Dive Experience is a great feeling and few things compare the perfect dive. Having said that, everyone’s definition of a perfect dive greatly varies but one thing that would be useful to any diver is information.
