About Us
East Africa Diving, a family owned and run dive centre, has operated for more than 15 years on Zanzibar. In 2007 we became a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre as well as a DAN (Divers Alert Network) partner. Depending on the season, we employ between 2-4 professional PADI Instructors from various parts of the world and 2-3 local and foreign Dive Masters. With our 3diveboats we take you to all the dive sites the north- east coast of Zanzibar has to offer.
The Dive Centre is located in Nungwi on the Northern tip of the island. Together with our clients, we plan our daily dive adventures for 365 days of the year, taking into account their interests and requirements. The northern area is known to have the best dive sites on Zanzibar, including the popular Mnemba Atoll. Some dive sites are as close as 10 minutes boat ride away from our dive shop.

Diving sites have beautiful corals and small camouflaged fishes like crocodile, stone, frog and scorpion fishes This company offers a variety of diving sites to explore near Nungwi including Memba island . Pay more and get quality boat and crew that doesn’t breakdown Boat was a rent a wreck! Crew was not helpful. Diving OK but operation was a big disappointment! Divemasters didn’t know name of crew as they changed everyday. We’re not good helping us back onto the... Reviewed 10/12/2023

Safe and brilliant staff Absolutely fantastic, did four dives, first two were off the RIB and second two off the fibreglass boat. Excellent guides, correct kit sizing, no problems with dive times. Reviewed 2/26/2023
