If you’ve always wondered what lies beneath the surface, now’s the time to find out. Start the journey of a lifetime with the PADI Open Water Diver course. It will change you forever. In the Open Water Diver course, your Instructor takes you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive. You start in a pool and progress to the open water getting the background knowledge along the way.
Course Options:
The Key West – This standard group class meets for 6 classroom sessions at The Dive Shop, 5 pool dives at a local pool, and 4 open water dives at the Blue Lagoon near Huntsville, Texas. Classes are two nights a week for three weeks with one weekend scheduled for open water dives. Contact The Dive Shop for posted schedule.
The Cozumel – This home study course allows you to complete part of the classroom work at home and then meets for 2 full days with your Instructor. Open water dives are completed during a scheduled open water weekend.
The Cayman – This private course allow you to schedule classroom and pool sessions with an Instructor at your convenience. The open water dives must be completed during a scheduled open water weekend.
The Tahiti – Do your own thing! Classroom sessions, pool sessions, and open water dives may be tailored to fit your busy schedule. Just tell us when you can fit us in, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
