Located in the heart of Old Town Key West at 606 Front St, downtown. Our 46' custom dive boat, The Phoenix, docks directly across the street from our shop at the Hyatt Resort and Marina. Southpoint Divers has been in business since 1989 and is still voted the best dive shop in Key West. The M/V Phoenix is a 46' Newton Custom Dive Boat built in 2000. The custom configuration features two dive ladders and a large swim platform at the back of the boat for easy giant-stride entries. She also comes equipped with camera table, camera buckets, two fresh water showers, fresh water hose, head, ample storage space for gear and dry bags and state of the art electronics. She is licensed for 40 Divers but we never book more than 25 passengers to ensure your comfort and space. Our morning Wreck Dive is on the USNS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg - Key West’s newest artificial reef and the 2nd largest wreck dive in the world. She lies in 140 feet of water approximately 6 miles SSE of Key West in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS). Our profile is 20 minutes with a max depth of 100ft which is the approximate depth of the deck. We set up a line descent system using a traverse line to the main mooring line to the wreck. Our afternoon dives are on the World's 3rd largest Barrier Reef in 25-30 feet with an hour of bottom time at each location.  Both AM & PM dives are 2-tanks.  Call our shop for more information!
