I live and dive in the north of the Sea of Japan, about 500 km from Vladivostok. My first dive scuba was in 1977 in the Rudnaya Bay. I have more than 4,000 log the dives now. MSDT PADI instructor #621296 since 2010. Underwater photographer since 1998.
Marek Piotr Skoczylas (MarekSk) I am a Scuba Diver, Free Diver, Solo Diver, Performance Swimmer, Underwater Photographer & Volunteer. I am a former Lifeguard. My main area and focus is Puget Sound Underwater Marine Life / Critters. I am a Documentarist. I share my pictures exactly as my camera captured it. I may sometimes trim the size but that is it. What I see underwater is what you see in my pictures. To me the Subject is as much important as its surrounding environment. That is why most of my pictures are shot with Super Wide Angle Fish Eye lens 111 degree angle. Don’t be surprised of the water background color to be mostly in Green shades. Puget Sound is also frequently referred as Emerald Sea. Water color can vary between the seasons, locations and even weather conditions. My biggest inspiration has been my Dear Friend Jan Kocian. From all the books and resources I have learned the most from Him. Thank you Jan! Here is the website with "Puget Sound Critters" Database: https://mareksk.smugmug.com/
