Seahorse Dive Shop is a fully equipped dive shop located in the heart of Placencia Village. The shop is owned and operated by Brian Young. Brian has many years of training experience and many, many years of diving experience. He was one of Placencia first dive masters and instructors. Prior to opening his dive shop, Brian was a native fisherman and skin diver. He knows the reef as only someone who has made a living from the sea can.

Here at Seahorse Dive Shop we offer the best of Belize Scuba Diving and Snorkeling to the southern reefs of Belize and the atolls. We also offer Dive instructions Courses, fishing excursions, adventure tours to the interior, as well a Belize Diving and Vacation Packages.

Diving and Snorkeling with Whale sharks are one of our specialties, make sure to book it today. We have been featured on CNN and National Geographic diving with these amazing creatures and most recently we where even mention the in January/February 2012 issue of Playboy Magazine as one of the best shark dive to do in Spring.

In the months of March, April, May, and June after the full moon whale sharks are observed at the Gladden Split Area by divers and snorkelers. This species, despite its enormous size, does not pose any significant danger to humans.
