About Us

Scuba Playa Dive Shop is located in the heart of Playa Del Carmen downtown, steps from the world famous 5th avenue and from the beach.
Our Dive Center offers lockers area, complementary safety boxes, fresh water showers ( hot and cold ), restrooms, fresh water rinsing tank,air conditiong classrooms, private dive gear storage area, outdoor resting area with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, free wifi internet connection, and retail store.
Feel free to chill out before and after your dives at our great outdoor resting area, listening music, answering your e-mails or just browsing the net.
Feeling like you need a coffee or a cappuccino for your chill out time ? Starbucks Coffee´s 5th avenue location is next door to Scuba Playa!
Scuba Playa provide rental gear from major diving brands, Scubapro, Mares, Best Divers and Scuba Supreme.
Scuba Playa works with alluminium tanks 12 liters ( 80 cu ft ) or 15 liters ( 100 cu ft ) with international and din valves.
A dive gear maintenance service is also available.
Walking to the boat from a dive shop couldn´t be easier!
After our dive briefings we just need to walk not even 50 meters to get to the beach where our boats are waiting for the divers.
We are 10 / 15 minutes maximum far from any dive site along the coast of Playa Del Carmen riding our comfortable dive boats with canopy and twin outboard motors.
All our dive boats have Vhf radio, O2 , first aid kit and any other safety items required by law.
Open 7 days a week from 07:30am to 09:00 pm Scuba Playa Staff will welcome you with the multi language speaking staff always smiling and ready to offer you the best solutions for diving and snorkeling alla around the Mayan Riviera.
At Scuba Playa we speak Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese and German.
