I went to S. Arabia for a business trip for about a month in June 2014. Always had a passion for underwater / scuba but never really had a chance to get myself a proper training and a diving certificate.

Since I was here in Jeddah, I htought I'd give it shot since the RedSea was probably the best place to do and learn diving. I had done Discovery dives many times so I was familiar with the underwater experience but the coral life and different kinds of fishes attracted me a lot here.

I did a search on the internet and e-mailed a few PADI Diving Courses. Infact I emailed about 10 courses but only got a reply from 4 of them. 2 of them asked way too much money for the course and one of them had language difficulties. So I stuck with Gulf Divers Group.

Khalid, the owner of Gulf Divers Group was very kind and tried his best to answer all my questions I had for him via e-mail. We negotiated on the fee I was to pay and we were good to go.

On the first day of training Khalid was very kind enough to pick me up from the hotel. He took me to a resort where we would do the training. On the way he was very informative and when we got there he first made me swim in a swimming pool to understand my level of swimming capability.

Later on he started the PADI Open Water Diver course.

In total we did 2 pool /confined water dives and 5 Open Water Dives. The review about the Redsea is a whole new topic but man was I pleased!

Throughout the training and dives Khalid was very patient and answered all the questions I had, even if I asked them more then once. Whenever I had a problem equalizing under water during dives, he stopped me and reminded me that it was my health that was the priority.

He is very very professional and I believe even the people with a possible panic behaviour would be very calm and feel at ease.

One point worth mentioning is that they were so kind, they lent me their t-shirt to dive with and then take to my hotel since I had a bad sunburn.

I am very very glad I chose Gulf Divers Group and would definitely choose them next time I'm around.

Thank you very much Gulf Divers Group!

Thank you very very much Khalid!
