About Us

Pro Dive Port Elizabeth offers a variety of PADI dive courses with excellent service for all your gear and diving needs. 

The Pro Dive Raggy Research Dive Team is a Public Participation in Science Initiative. Ragged Tooth sharks are classified as Vulnerable on the IUCN listing and with increased pressure due to habitat destruction, pollution and fishing these iconic animals are is peril. We call all Advanced scuba divers to assist and become part of the Pro Dive Raggy Research Dive Team.
As team member you will personally assist in collecting nondestructive pertinent scientific research data on Ragged Tooth shark and other elasmobranch species encountered during project specific dive expedition in Algoa Bay. The information collected will contribute and assist in understanding the local movement and population structure of Ragged Tooth Sharks in Algoa Bay.

  • No refund for bad visibility after 3 days of storm. My 17 year old daughter did a shore dive. The moment they were in the water the guide decided to stop the dive because of bad visability. This is after 3 days of storm! So they should have known if... Reviewed 9/2/2024
