About Us

The OCÉAN is a school and diving operator established in Rio de Janeiro since October 1991. The school is affiliated to PADI - Professional Association of Diving Instructors, DAN (Divers Alert Network) aa ABETA (Brazilian Association of Adventure Tourism Companies ) and is currently based in the East Side, in Angra dos Reis, on the premises of Angra Fashion Dive Resort. 

In the first half of 2003 won one of the most important of their certification by the American institution DAN then becoming the tenth dive center world and first in South America to receive the recognition of 'Partner in Dive Safety'. This certificate identified the Océan as a company capable of promoting dive safely, and with a high degree of preparation for emergencies. In early 2003, to meet its customers and other dive schools with more quality, comfort and safety decided to build the Mr. Dunga vessel with capacity for 30 divers, making it one of the best boats in the area intended for use. In 2012 received the Outstanding PADI Dive Center Business Award Award (recognition as a Dive Center with Excellence in Business) indicated by PADI Americas and PADI Canada. 

This award recognizes the OCÉAN DIVING CENTRE for significant contributions to the growth and development of the diving industry. The selection criteria included the challenges faced in their fields and innovative practices used to address these challenges.The Outstanding Business Award recognizes performance, initiatives and achievements of OCÉAN in all areas of operations and business. 

The Océan has a full service structure, ranging from a shop where they sold products from leading manufacturers in the world dive , a complete operating structure with equipment rental for recreational diving and technical dives daily departures to and cylinder refills. Our main differential, the relentless pursuit of quality. We keep our staff trained to deal with not only technical issues but also as regards the provision of services as a whole. 

Our refills station meets the most stringent quality standards, attested through reports issued quarterly by the Air Trace (USA), after analysis of air samples collected directly from our system. The Océan, in partnership with Eco Finders Tourism and Adventure and the Adventure Travel, offers several options for diving vacation packages, whether for domestic or international destinations. Come visit us!
