Belgium Attractions

The country has many interesting museums dedicated to national history, ancient and modern arts, painting, and specialized exhibitions of works by Belgian creators - artists, sculptors and architects are open.

You can organize vacations for children by visiting the capital Bryupark, on the territory of which the futuristic Atomium sculpture is located, the Mini-Europe miniature park known to many tourists, as well as the Oceade water park, one of the best amusement parks in the family format. To easily find interesting places or learn the culture of the city when communicating with local people, you need to know one of 3 languages: it is German, French or Dutch, but there is a way out, you can simply download a high-quality Translator and use modern opportunities to the maximum.

Vacation in Belgium during holidays and festivals will give additional impressions: what you should see on the main square of the country is the luxurious “Carpet of Flowers” or the grandiose reconstruction of the medieval Ommegang parade.

The main attractions of Belgium in Brussels

Many interesting places from the basic list of Belgium attractions are located in the capital - Brussels.

The most recognizable symbol of Brussels is the Manneken Pis fountain. It is located in the city center, not far from Grand Place, where the beautiful building of the capital, the Brussels Town Hall, is located.

The Royal Palace in Brussels has long served as the residence of the monarchs, and is now open to tourists. The palace complex houses a museum of the history of the Belgian dynasty, there are three exhibitions of contemporary art.

Brussels Lava Temple - Cathedral of Michael and Gudula, patrons of the Belgian capital. The cathedral is one of the brightest examples of church Gothic, so admiring it from the outside is not enough - be sure to look inside to see it in all its glory.

We should also mention the Brussels museums. First of all - the museum of the surrealist Rene Magritte, which is impossible not to recognize even from afar, at least once seeing photos of this attraction. The exhibitions of the Victor Hort Museum, the Brussels Museum of Comics, and the Museum of Vintage Cars in the Fiftieth Park are interesting and unique.

It is impossible not to say about the rather famous sights of Belgium and Brussels - the Red Light District, which includes the streets of Aersho, Line, Brabant and others.

Sights of the cities of Belgium

Belgium sights are not limited to Brussels alone. A vivid example of this is the City Hall of the city of Bruges, known for the film "Get to the bottom in Bruges." In this picturesque town and its environs, the Grote Markt square, the Beffroix watchtower with an observation deck, are first of all worth visiting. The main architectural monuments and existing religious sites are the Church of Our Lady, the Chapel of the Holy Blood, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. There is a Brewing Museum in Bruges, where tours are regularly held. An interesting exhibition and theme store are open at the Diamond Museum.

Antwerp has the oldest Belgian zoo, with a dolphinarium, nature reserve and planetarium. You can walk here at least the whole day, but if you still have free time, you should look into the Rubens Museum.
