Scuba Diving with Maple Leaf Scuba while on Cozumel was a fantastic experience. The dive instructors and dive masters are professional, friendly, focused on safety first while creating a very relaxed environment. Thanks Vanessa, Louise, Ivana, Jill and Glenda!

I started with the PADI refresher scuba diving course then went on to do six more fun dives, which were so fun! The coral reef is healthy and beautiful and I saw everything from sea slugs to nurse sharks! So many turtles, rays, barracuda, puffer fish, moray eels. I learnt to dive in current just by being in the water with them and they were great at pointing out sea life and being very patient so I could take videos with my new camera. The dive boats are well equipped with helpful staff who provide water, fruit and other treats during surface intervals.

The ladies at the shop also arranged a whale shark tour for me out of Cancun that I’ve been wanting to do for years. I actually named my trip here ‘Operation Whale Shark’. I was not disappointed. There were at least 15 whale sharks and even more Giant Manta Rays and they were not shy. There were a few times myself and others on the trip had to back up to avoid touching them. One of the top 5 experiences in my life!

The island is beautiful and the instructors at Maple Leaf Scuba were also very helpful in providing tips on the best places to go when I wasn’t diving. Much appreciated. This shop is by far the best dive shop on Cozumel and maybe all of México in my opinion. Scuba diver life!!
