Matava is Fiji’s Premier Eco Adventure Resort offering guests a fun and unique blend of cultural experiences and adventure activities on the environmentally pristine and remote island of Kadavu in Fiji. A stone’s throw away from the Great Astrolabe Barrier Reef, it is the perfect marine environment to SCUBA dive, snorkel, game fish, sea kayak, trek, visit villages, bird watch or simply relax and unwind and sample our delicious cuisine. Beautiful, traditional thatched Fijian bures afford guests’ privacy, comfort and superb unrestricted views over the ocean and Great Astrolabe reef.
Our PADI 5 Star Dive Centre takes guests out diving the Great Astrolabe Barrier Reef every morning with optional extra afternoon or night dives. Our signatures dive site is Manta Reef where we see numerous resident and pelagic Manta Rays on about 90% of all dives however we have numerous dive sites on the barrier reef.
