    Our self catering apartments provide comfortable, affordable, short let accommodation in the village of St.Paul’s Bay, to the north of Malta. Located on a side street just off the main road, Sands apartments are conveniently located close to all amenities.

Welcome to Malta and to Maltaqua in particular, a multi diving agency school with over 40 years of experience accredited with ISO 24803:2007 Recreational Diving Services certification.

With so many diving schools available, we believe that our family-run business offers our clients – from complete beginners to the most advanced technical divers – the warmest of welcomes backed up by skilled and committed instructors and guides.

Maltaqua offers a complete range of introductory scuba diving lessons, PADI and BSAC courses and daily diving excursions around the three Islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino. All of our d iving equipment, compressors, vehicles and boats are modern, well-maintained and reliable.

Each member of our enthusiastic, friendly team of professional instructors has been specially selected and trained to care for you. All our excursions and courses are lead by fully qualified Instructors - not Divemaster interns or trainees. Each is totally committed and as we find that people learn best when they are comfortable with their instructor, we do our best to “match-make” in terms of language, age and outlook.

Our Diving Shop is large, fully air conditioned and very well-stocked. Come prepared to choose from a wide range of brands at some of the lowest prices in Europe.

Over the years our efforts to respond to clients' needs, has led to us now offering all the elements that go to make up a holiday; car hire, accommodation, transfers as well as excursions for non diving partners.

Just a few steps from the Diving Centre is "Sands", our own, air conditioned, studio apartments, purpose-built for divers, which has an area set aside to wash and hang your gear.

If you prefer to book a holiday through your local Travel Agent you are still very welcome to use our diving services, remember to tell them you wish to stay in the St. Paul's Bay area.
