Additional Notes

KLM Alila is one of the most luxurious liveaboard Phinisi ship in Asia, providing ultra-modern and relaxing accommodation for up to ten guests. Handcrafted in the traditional style of a Phinisi, as used by the Bugis seafarers from south Sulawesi in Indonesia, the 46-metre long KLM Alila consists of three decks. In keeping with Alila’s emphasis on style and sustainability, the furniture throughout the ship is custom-made from teak, rattan and other locally sourced materials from Indonesia. Onboard are five well-appointed cabins including one master suite, designed to indulge guests further with large wraparound windows offering 180-degree views of the ever-changing yet incredible landscape. KLM Alila will take on the journey to Komodo Island sailing the Flores Seas and to Raja Ampat Islands sailing Halmahera Seas. Adventure is now available for individual suite bookings, subject to demand and capacity. For Komodo Island Voyage, guests fly direct to Labuan Bajo from the tropical island of Bali. Sailing via Rinca Island, where Komodo dragons reside, to east Sumbawa in the Flores Sea. For Raja Ampat Voyage, guests fly to Sorong from Jakarta via Makassar. Sailing through Mansuar Island, where is not uncommon to encounter mantas ray and dolphins, to Wayag Islands or to Misool Island. When not being mesmerised underwater, guests can choose to relax on golden sandy beaches, perhaps with a picnic and a chilled glass of champagne. Or explore island life, taking a walk through villages or tropical rainforests, glimpsing beautiful birds of paradise in their natural habitat.
