My First Holiday in Charming Sydney

I can still recall that day when I express my excitement with a ‘Hurrah’ the moment I was done booking a flight to Sydney from the UK. Sydney, being one of the hottest tourist destinations in the world tempting millions to compare cheap flight tickets to Sydney, attracts every tourist expressing their willingness to soak in sun letting themselves loose in the sunny weather.

The glamorous capital city of New South Wales has been living up to its reputation for being one of the world’s most beautiful cities that turn other destinations envious for it’s got loads of charm.

With its stunning harbour and terrific surf beaches, Sydney is without doubt a supermodel of a city. This sizzling city was a recipe for an ideal holiday for me, and so it’d be for you. Taking pride in being Australia’s largest city, Sydney happens to be its most visited.

A sophisticated metropolis bordered by dazzling beaches, world heritage sites and much-admired wine regions, Sydney is every traveller’s idea of fun. This city would let you explore the best of everything you have been looking forward to.

With loads of fabulous tourist attractions and sights to see, including the well-known Bondi and Manly beaches, it does not come as a surprise why holidaymakers booking cheap flights to Sydney from far and wide choose this marvellous city their one and only destination for a perfect holiday.

There’s so much you can see and do that a few days would not do any good to you or your holiday. People have long been discovering this gorgeous city and they stay here for a while – so try to make the most out of your holiday staying for a week at least if possible.

Well, I was doing my time in Sydney and it’s for a week, because I knew that just 3-5 days would not seem enough to experience Sydney at its best. So, I had to set my venture in Sydney though I quit my job. My boss wasn’t willing to let me go but I had the nerve to begin my journey to a city I had read about in magazines, saw in movies and all that jazz.

All I had in mind was to search for the best deal on flights to Sydney as there was huge rush for discounted deals. Some of the leading names in the industry disappointed me as I could not accept what they had in store for me. But compareandfly.com really won me over as its deal not only saved me pounds but let me make the most out of the holiday the way I wanted.

Sydney plays host to some of the most admirable tourist attractions boasting Sydney Opera House and the very famous Bondi Beach. Take a tour of the Central Business District (CBD), and Sydney Tower will leave you stunned providing mind-blowing views over Sydney. It’s also the starting point for the popular skywalk – a guided tour. If you aren’t fond of heights, head to Royal Botanic Gardens will fascinate you deep inside providing a striking backdrop for a relaxing walk around the harbour. The walk will take you to the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Visit the Darling Harbour and discover the award-winning Sea Life Sydney Aquarium and the interesting Australian National Maritime Museum.

Accompanied by the little ones? They will surely love Taronga Zoo, home to a large number of species of native Australian animals. Paddington and Newton are the inner-city suburbs that will seem appealing to you with their café culture and a fine blend of boutiques and galleries. For shopaholics, heading to Westfield Mall will be the right thing to do.
