Mission Statement

Channel Islands Dive Adventures mission is to offer well organized dive trips to unique and interesting destinations with a dive/travel guide present, to help foster new friendships with other like minded divers and above all to promote safe and fun diving.

About CIDA

Channel Islands Dive Adventures organizes and plans scuba trips (mainly charters) on various dive boats with 4 main goals in mind. Those 4 goals are to offer trips to specific unique dive destinations, to promote diver safety, to offer reasonable priced trips and above all to have fun with other like-minded divers.

Channel Islands Dive Adventures also organizes and plans warm or cold water dive trips and more. Please check the Channel Islands Dive Adventures Dive Calendar or Dive Vacations pages for the current trips that are planned.

Channel Islands Dive Adventures is owned and operated by Ken Kollwitz, an insured NAUI Instructor and diver for over 30 years. Ken has planned and organized many trips from San Diego to British Columbia, Canada (Ken’s favorite) and has dove the Channel Islands for over 25 years. Ken has a sense of adventure and enjoys all types of scuba diving such as; hunting, wrecks, photography, drift, deep, tech, deco and more. Formerly, Ken worked for a local dive boat as a Divemaster and Operations Manager.

Channel Islands Dive Adventures was started with the idea to offer more interesting and advanced trips to adventurous divers that would normally not be available and at the same time offer relaxed easy trips for the diver looking for a nice day out diving different sites.
