C H SMITH MARINE LAUNCESTON is a fantastic, modern retail outlet.  We are based in Launceston and the business has been trading in Wellington Street for a number of years since our move from the old building down in Canal Street. We are proudly Tasmanian owned and operated and we pride ourselves on our first class customer service provided by our team.

Our huge product range suits anyone that goes boating, fishing, kayaking, diving or has any interest in, on or beside the water.

Commercial fisherman have always purchased their professional products from us. Our rope, nets, floats, twine, anchors and chain are of the highest commercial quality to satisfy their requirements and this quality is available to our recreational fisherman.

We specialise in watersport gear with brands including Connelly, Body Glove and Fuel. We carry three brands of kayaks, Wavedance, Ocean Kayak and Sevylor. We also offer kayak hire for those who wish to try before they buy. Land and Sea, Mares and Neptune are our preferred brands for snorkeling and swim gear.
