Blue Ocean Dive Centers & Resorts is the brainchild of a passionate team of travel experts. In 2003, tourism shifted slightly towards Marsa Alam, simultaneously with the opening of the airport. Khaled Hamed, a captain on his own leisure boat, followed the stream and moved from Hurghada to Marsa Alam to pursue his dream. Roaming the area, he offered his touristic services to the few hotels around at that time. Starting up with a small team, they took care of reservations, bookings, transport and guiding as a true self independent team of pioneers. Dolphin House, Elphinstone Reef, Om Halhalla and Abu Dabbab became their second home. Daily they were welcoming people from around the globe, learning from other cultures, educating and entertaining divers and snorkelers and always making new friends.
