Designed by both an experienced Maldivian boat builder the Blue Lagoon 100,s is a motor safari yacht with a deep V shaped chine bottom Hull made up of Ballau timber with top marine qualities. All decks and over water superstructures are in fiberglass, while the boatyard has opted for decks with a core in high density expanded marine wood, with a task of ensuring the necessary rigidity for the structure and a high Thermal- acoustic insulator in the engine Rooms. The walls dividing the various rooms are made of a sandwich structure of two walls in marine plywood. The interiors, realized in a combination of fine woods such as teak, mahogany and pine are welcoming and rich in accessories throughout, dedicated to comfort and relaxation. The spacious swimming platform, located astern is just six inches from sea level for the convenience of the guest. There are a total of 20 lateral portholes, all in stainless steel and armored glass. Modern heat and smoke alarm systems are located. The deck under the main deck is completely taken by the cabins of which six on either sides and one in the bow for guests, the size of rooms are aprox. 9’x13’ and the toilets 9’x3.5’ The rear end of this deck is located staff quarters area ( 10’x 28’) with toilet , the stores area ( 28’x 4’) .
