Alpha Dive Centre was established in the Strand some 18 years ago and has been a permanent fixture in Main Road ever since, with our more recent addition in the Tyger Waterfront since 2011. At the heart of both dive centres is owner-manager Ettienne Raal with a personal dive history that started in 1985. As with any successful business, there is a team of staff, instructors and technicians, a wife and two kids that together make up the Alpha Dive Centre family with a combined teaching experience of over 35 years. WE are also very proud of divers that have been trained up and later find themselves in dive locations and careers as far afield as Mauritius, Redsea, Seychelles, Thailand, Fiji, Australia, Florida, Mediterranean, Saudi and slightly closer to home in Mozambique and Sodwana thereby extending this scuba family even further. Let us know where your diving takes you so that we can connect you with an Alpha family member almost anywhere in the world. Our dive centres boast an air station each and two fully equipped dive shops offering top of the range scuba diving gear and rental equipment. Our dive school classrooms seat 8-10 students and pool work is done on the premises in Tyger Waterfront. Enquire about our introduction to scuba diving pool session for you, your family and friends, done right here with a highly qualified instructor.We are able to provide divers with excellent equipment service and repair by highly certified technicians and we invite you to visit our travel desk for your next dive trip.
