The M/V Orion is owned by Constellation Ventures Pvt Ltd and headed by Alexander Bryant. British citizen Alex Bryant was born in Saudi Arabia, grew up in Singapore & Malaysia, and has never really lived in the UK apart from his years at University. A PADI IDC Staff Instructor and SDI & TDI Instructor Trainer, Alex has been diving the waters of Maldives, Malaysia, and much of Asia since 1994. Since 2004, he’s expanded to running diving operations in Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Maldives. He lives in the Maldives where he oversees operations for MV Orion, and you will meet him on most trips. Normally Alex will be on the boat “full-time” for 1 trip a month, as he still loves getting in the water with the signature Mantas and pelagics that are the high point of most live-aboard cruises.
