We are passionate about the aquatic environment and dedicated to providing a memorable experience to all our valued guests. Ali is Al Mahara's most friendly and hospitable PADI Divemaster in Abu Dhabi. You will find him entertaining divers and snorkellers with adventures of his diving trips in around Abu Dhabi waters. Alistair is Al Mahara Diving Center volunteer team guy and a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer teaching since 2000. He also holds an honors degree in Horticulture and in addition has RYA Powerboat Level 2 and is a certified Bauer Compressor technician and Emergency First Response Instructor. If he's not underwater, you can find Alistair at the kayak launch points or dive boats greeting everyone with a smile. Kathleen is a PADI Course Director and has been actively teaching since 1996. She holds a Bacholors of Agricultural Science from Canada and in addition has RYA Powerboat Level 2 and is a certified Bauer compressor technician and Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer. You can find Kathleen training underwater or taking divers to different and exciting dive sites. Also she is actively involved in the mangrove kayaking excursions and organising marine debris clean ups and Reef Check in Abu Dhabi. Anna is a PADI Instructor from Switzerland. She has travelled and worked in plenty of amazing dive destinations across South East Asia and is passionate about teaching and about the ocean. Lauren is a PADI Swim Instructor and PADI Divemaster who heads up the PADI Swim School programs in Abu Dhabi. Currently she teaches PADI Swim School programs offered at Crownse Plaza onYas ISland, Abu Dhabi Golf Club and private lessons at various locations. She is a former National champion swimmer and syncronized swimmer representing South Africa. She has also dived in many exotic places including Seychelles. Sanjay is a PADI Assistant Instructor from Sri Lanka and is Al Mahara's kayaking guide and boat driver. He is the friendly and enthusiastic guide taking you on the kayak tours whether in the beautiful scenic mangroves of Abu Dhabi or in the sea. If he's not kayaking with our guests, he will be helping divers as a divemaster and showing the under realm to venturing divers. Lena is Al Mahara Dive Center retail and adminstrative assistant from Indonesia. She is the friendly voice and words behind the correspondances to ensure Al Mahara Dive Team meet your scuba diving, snorekelling and kayaking needs. Genie is Al Mahara Dive Center retail and adminstrative assistant from Philippines. She has many years of experience inthe hospitality industry and will be that friendly voice on the phone or at the counter awaiting to assist all our guests. Nelda is our dedicated receptionist and activities coordinator from the Seychelles and working at our bespoke Desert Islands Watersports Center on Sir Bani Yas Island. She has many uears of experience in the hospitality service. She will ensure you have an unforgettable guest experience. Kasun is the logistics assistant and trained kayak guide who is always friendly and helping our guests whether its kayaking or on the dive boats. Eduardo is also logistics assistant and trained kayak guide from the Philippines who is always assisting guests whether it is scuba diving, snorkelling or being a kayak guide on our eco mangrove kayak tours in Abu Dhabi. Shanka is our boat driver from Sri Lanka and activities assistant at Desert Islands Watesports Center. He is a friendly and helpful assistant on the boat. Salinda is our boat driver from Sri Lanka with years of experience in the sea. He is always helpful and will assist the divers and snorekllers on the boat and all the other watersports activities we have. He is also based at Desert Islands Waterpsorts Center. James Lambert is oue newest PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and watersports enthusiasts joing Al Mahara team. He will be there assisting all the divers and snorekllers who venture tointo our pristine waters. We also have a team of more then 10 professional and experienced freelance PADI and DSAT Instructors working with Al Mahara Diving Center. We are able to offer courses in many languages since the instructors come for various parts of the world. You can choose a course in English, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Thai and Cantonese.
