About Us
Adventure Bay Charters wants you to plunge into the refreshing water of South Australia to have close up encounters with Australian Sea Lions and Great White Sharks!! We have a strong passion for marine conservation and ecotourism and want to share our enthusiasm with others. In keeping with this philosophy we use acoustics, such as ACDC, to command great white sharks' curiosity, avoiding aggression and harm to this endangered species.
Located in beautiful Port Lincoln, South Australia, Adventure Bay Charters is a family owned business run by Matt Waller, a fourth generation fisherman who is passionate about the fishing industry and sharing his knowledge with others.
Adventure Bay Charters is the fastest growing and most awarded tourism operator in Port Lincoln and was awarded into the Hall of Fame for Best Adventure tour in 2012 and Major tourist attraction in 2014. Hall of fame recognizes three consecutive years in each category for being the best operator in each category and is an outstanding contribution to South Australian tourism.
Adventure Bay Charters was also awarded The Best Tourist Attraction in South Australia for 2015.
