Advice for diving Pirates Purchase in British Virgin Islands
Right out of Pirate's of The Caribbean! I have dived this site with Captain Colin Aldridge three times. He actually discovered it drift diving!!!! It is one of my favorite BVI wrecks because it has virtually no pressure from other divers and they take very few people there because it is a 90 foot depth. I usually stay at 65-70 as there is a lot of action visible from deck level. It's about 100 feet in length. VERY Old steel sailboat. Seen lots of sharks swim by, big sting rays bury themselves in the sand around the wreck, seen Cobia (!!!!!!), Amberjack, always large snappers and covered with bait fish. It's a very cool dive and I highly recommend it.
