The golden jellyfish (Mastigias papua etpisoni) of Jellyfish Lake, Palau. Found near the surface of the lake, it’s estimated there are over 13 million jellyfish in the lake and they migrate following the sun daily from one side of the lake to the other. They need sunlight for the symbiotic algae that live in their tissues which helps produce energy for the jellyfish.
