Advice for diving Boyinaboat Reef in Australia
Boyina boat reef - A Grade Sanctuary - nothing can be removed from the area including shells. No spearing or crayfishing. Lots to see here and worth the swim. Be aware it is difficult to climb down the rocks and one person has broken an arm. Also ensure to scout for a suitable entry and ext and also mark it in someway as on the way back you will need it to come back to the correct spot. Butterfly cod, crayfish , schools of drummer fish can be seen. Look out for the territorial Scallyfin Fish which will charge at you and run into you with a reasonable amount of force.
