I've been diving for 10 years and am the Science Editor and a writer for Ocean Geographic magazine (www.ogsociety.org). I'm also a free-lance science writer/editor and am the Project Manager for the Elysium Artists for the Arctic expedition (www.elysiumepic.org). Elysium (8/29-11/16) is a project that combines the expertise of some of the world's top scientists, artists, and explorers to create a multi-faceted interpretation of the Arctic. Our goal is to inspire greater appreciation, understanding, and love for this critically important part of our planet, while drawing attention to the impacts of climate change.
