About Us
Nguyen Van Loc - the founder of Scuba Zone was a member of the first Vietnam Shipwreck salvaging team. The team of enthusiastic young 20 something year olds with backward diving equipment made amazing achievements to recover many shipwrecks and their heritage. Their work helped in part to record and keep alive history.
With the same enthusiasm, Loc set up the mooring buoy system for the Nha Trang Bay MPA - the first MPA in Vietnam. This ended anchoring on the coral reefs and much of the tourism impacts. This technique has been used in Vietnam’s 15 other MPAs.
As the owner of Scuba Zone, he is enthusiastic and fun when he guides and trains divers to explore the mystery underwater world.
