Diver Service

The valve of a SCUBA tank is the most neglected piece of equipment in a diver’s kit.  While manufacturers recommend the valve be overhauled annually in conjunction with the visual inspection, this rarely occurs.  While we agree with the manufacturer’s recommended annual service interval, a well-maintained valve can last longer without needing an overhaul.  So while we recommend annual service, we only require an overhaul at the time of requalification.
