About Us
Barefoot Divers is a PADI 5 Star Dive and Instructor Development Center (IDC) located at Barefoot Cay Resort. A luxury resort on the south side of Roatan, with the famous dive site Mary's Place just minutes away. We offer valet diving with 3 boat dives daily, all levels of PADI instruction, quality Air and Nitrox fills, and a selection of dive gear and accessories for purchase. For those who are considering diving as a career, we offer the PADI Dive Master Course and our own Eco Dive Master Internships. Our professional internship program includes shark biology lectures with 4 research dives and an introduction to PADI's Coral Fish ID techniques.
We are surrounded by the world's second-largest barrier reef, Roatan is a diver's paradise, offering hundreds of incredible dive sites. Our valet diving service ensures you'll have the best service and most fun for your day of diving! Our resort guests are sent out on their own boat, with small groups and professional, experienced dive instructors. For cruise ship guests, we are conveniently located about a 5 minute drive from Mahogany Bay port.

Our helpful, friendly staff takes care of everything so that you can spend more of your vacation enjoying all the luxury resort amenities and relaxing in the tropics. We offer you a full range of diving experiences, PADI courses, and a full-service PADI 5 Star dive shop.

Great Snorkeling Experience: Ask at the Dive Shop if They'll Take You Out! We went out twice with Barefoot Divers, as tag-along snorkelers. They will take you along if the boat is anchoring near a shallow reef. Great experiences. The captain and the dive master on both... Reviewed 3/9/2024
