Advice for diving Houbihou Outlet in Taiwan
The Houbihu Outlet aka Outlet Bay aka The Water Outlet is a very safe shore diving area to dive and snorkle in, ideal for Open Water divers and freedivers. There is a resident school of Yellowtail barracuda and Pickhandle Barracuda that can number from one or two hundred to more than 500. There are also resident Garfish, various Parrotfish, turtles, Blue Spotted Ray, Lionfish, Bumphead wrasse and many types of Angle and Butterflyfish. Depth varies from 2.5 meters to 14 meters. It has a very easy north/south orientation.
