About Us

South Sea Adventures was formed in 2001. At that time there were no professional scuba diving establishments in Alberton. We decided that this must change and hence South Sea Adventures became a reality. 

The shop had humble beginnings with a handful of very basic products displayed. As time went on and we got more and more exposure the product list got bigger and bigger.

Major renovations started in February 2008. The 200 000 liter pool was first, then the shop was completely renovated. We are now a 100% complete PADI dive center.

Offering a wide variety of courses, dive equipment and scuba safaris, local and international. South Sea Adventures also caters for young scuba enthusiasts offering Kids Scuba Parties supervised under highly qualified safety divers.

We will get you any brand that is not stocked by us.

The facility includes:

   Very well stocked Dive shop for both scuba diver and spearfisherman.

   Air & Nitrox filling station

   Large and spacious lecture facility.

   200 000 liter 3m heated training pool.

   Service center for all equipment services and repair.

   Kiosk for your convenience.

   Secure parking.
