We just returned on the transition trip (from Tabbataha to Sebu) in May/June 2018 and had a terrific time! The diving in Tubataha is refreshingly untouched (due to no-fishing) with Whale sharks, reef sharks, tuna and trevali as well as myriads of smaller fish. great trip with a variety of dive types (reef, wall, muck, big and small stuff etc.). Muck diving in Dauin was great too! so many amazing creatures (sea horses, ambon scorpion fish, ornate ghost pipe fish, crustacians of all sorts, frog ...
The fantastic diving found off the Dumaguete area of Negros Oriental, Philippines will delight any diver. Macro fans will find fantastic muck diving right offshore, and a shore boat ride to Apo Island nearby provides great wide angle opportunities with fantastic coral and lots of fish.
Just south of Manila, Puerto Galera is easy to reach and part of the “Coral Triangle”, which has one of the highest marine biodiversity in the world. Puerto Galera has all the critter finding a muck diver could dream, colorful reefs full of fish, fabulous resorts, great food, and exciting nightlife.
The Apo Reef: A pristine reef with rich life, located in the west of occidental Mindoro (Philippines), at the northern tip of the coral triangle. Don't confuse Apo Island with the identically named island in Negros oriental.
