Top 7 Things to Do in Miami

What can I say about Miami? A glamorous and sun-drenched paradise allowing tourists to soak themselves in loads of fun always had me deep inside. With its stunning beaches, exciting nightlife and fine-looking, A-list residents, Miami is happening, in every sense of the word. Often called “The Gateway to the Americas”, cheap flights to Miami make every visitor have the time of life. And it’s not hard to see why.

I was the one who kept giving in to its allure because this Florida town did not let me escape for it never ran short of sights, sounds and delights making Miami one of the world’s hottest holiday destinations. I could go on and on describing every aspect of this town with a Cuban touch but there was so much in mind that I had to devote equal time to highlights.

There’s a lot you can do in Miami that would keep you entertained throughout your holiday. Here are some of the top things to do:

1. South Beach

You just cannot expect an amazing holiday if you strike South Beach off from the ‘to-do’list. Visiting South Beach is one of the must-do’s for every visitor who’s looking for some fun, fashion and fine-looking art deco architecture.

2. Everglades

The Everglades National Park, supposedly one of the most interesting public parks in the country, attracts every visitor doing first time in the city. Home to 14 rare and endangered species, including the American Crocodile, the Florida Panther and the West Indian Manatee, this park is a must visit.

3.Seaquarium

Located right in the middle of the tourist area, the Miami Seaquarium is a wonderful stop where an outdoor aquarium will take you on a joyride letting you experience something which is only possible in Miami’s tropical climate. Make sure you don’t fall short of time as it’s be worth spending at least half a day.

4.Beaches

Work on your tan lying on some of the best beaches in Miami. With loads of ideal spots, you’re sure to find the one that does not get overpacked with tourists.

5.Miami Museum of Science

Accompanied by the little ones? Do visit the Miami Museum of Science offering a finest learning adventure to the whole family.

6.Zoo Miami

Zoo Miami is a must visit attraction where you can get up close and personal with a wide variety of animals from Asia, Africa and Australia. The animals are totally cageless and are grouped according to their geographic territory.

7.Jungle Island

Formerly known as Parrot Jungle, the Jungle Island offers tourists an opportunity which is both fun and educational to get familiar with tropical birds in replicas of their natural habitats.

Ultra-cool South Beach, interesting Art Deco buildings and the pleasing ocean breeze - they are some of the reasons to compare cheap flight tickets to Miami. I was aboard the BA flight that little did I know that it’d be the best flight on my way to a city I had been longing for.

As the largest city in the U.S. State of Florida, this spectacular metropolis is a place to be and be seen in, especially if you want to take a glance at some of the known faces wandering at South Beach. That’s not all! Even the restaurants and bars are worth your time because they’ve stored a lot for you satisfying your hunger and thirst all at once.
